Bodytrim was opened on March, 15, 1991 in the then Wellington Court Hotel in Trim (now the Castle Arch). In 1993, the club moved to bigger premises at Market Street in Trim. In 1998, the owner decided to move the club to Kennedy Road, Navan at the site of the former Bodyworks club. In 2007, two more clubs were opened in Cavan at Ballyjamesduff and Belturbet. However, after a number of years running all three clubs the owner has decided to concentrate on the Navan club and the Cavan clubs are now under new ownership.
